Each Christmas, the kids and adults get a financial gift that allows them to supplement their meager income and go shopping for some much needed clothes and other consumables. It is a joyful event every time, when the pickup truck arrives, everybody piles in the back of it and then goes to town for a few hours of Christmas shopping.
